On 30 October 2025, the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG)
released the 2025 English Indices of Deprivation. These indices provide a set of relative measures of
deprivation for small geographic areas known as Lower-layer Super Output Areas (LSOAs)
across England, based on 7 domains of deprivation constructed from 55 different indicators.
